About
The 9 Bridges Benefice encompasses five parishes: St. Benedict’s Glinton, St. Pega’s Peakirk, St. Andrew’s Northborough, St. Stephen’s Etton, and St. Peter’s Maxey. These parishes are deeply rooted in history, with church buildings and traditions that date back centuries.

Mission: To put God at the centre of all we do, equipping and welcoming people into a community that actively lives out the gospel.
Our vision is anchored in the transformative power of God’s love, with our mission to equip disciples, welcome all, and act in faith as the foundation for growth and sustainability. By fostering a vibrant spiritual community, we aim to ensure our churches remain active hubs of worship, outreach, and cultural significance.
Vision:
Through prayer, teaching, discipleship, and evangelism, we seek to nurture spiritual growth and create opportunities for God to transform lives. Our actions are grounded in faith and directed toward fostering connections both within and beyond our parishes.
This mission emphasizes the importance of spiritual growth as the cornerstone for addressing challenges in governance, finances, and community engagement. By prioritizing faith and discipleship, we ensure all other elements align with God’s purpose for the benefice.

Come and see
No matter who you are, where you’ve been, or what you believe, you are welcome at our churches. They are places to find hope, community, and purpose. You don’t have to have life figured out, and you don’t need to be perfect—none of us are. Church is about growing, supporting one another, and discovering God’s love in a real and meaningful way. Whether you’re searching for peace, friendship, or a fresh start, there’s a place for you here. Come as you are—you belong. Give it a try; you might just find what you’ve been looking for.
